Yoga & Meditation

I  currently only teach private classes.

Yoga & Meditation is a wonderful tool for your wellbeing, and especially recommended during pregnancy and postpartum.

I practiced Yoga & Meditation until the day I gave birth, and I cannot  imagine a pregnancy and postpartum without it.

It gives you time to connect with yourself and your baby. It helps to  address and soothe pregnancy related discomforts such as fatigue, lower back pain, fluid retention, mood swing and  constipation.  

 Yoga and meditation are also extremely supportive for postpartum related discomforts such as baby blues, shoulder/back stiffness due to breastfeeding and carrying baby, a weakened pelvic floor and general fatigue.

 

I am convinced that Yoga and Meditation are deeply connected and cannot be separated. Yoga asana (physical poses) are the preparation for a deeper Meditation, helping you sit more comfortably for a longer period of time. Your muscles are relaxed, and the hormones which are released after physical exercise such as serotonin help you transition more smoothly into meditation.

 

Meditation has become more and more popular these days, and therefore research about the benefits of meditation are easy to find.

Stress reduction, anxiety control, connection with others,  enhanced immunity, quality sleep just to name a few. . 

Meditation is one of the best tools you can use during pregnancy, postpartum and beyond. 

Finding a quiet seat, and reconnecting with yourself, and your baby is a magical moment.
